The Riverside Hospitial Animal Ambassador Program
Pet visitation promotes interaction with patients for an environment assisting with the healing process.
Beginning Jan. 2007, Animal Ambassadors will visit patients and families in designated areas throughout the hospitial for the first time.  This program has been in the making for 3 years and finally completes a dream come true for program coordinator, Karla Sampson.
Riverside's Animal Ambassadors are graduates of Lori's Therapy Dog/Obedience Training class, and after passing final exams , teams are certified and insured by Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs Inc.
